Im not sure if you have answered this question before but when is the final going to take place and how long will we have to finish it?
ReplyDeleteCheck this blog every day next week but basically its gonna involve going on blackboard (and educational website the school uses) going to where the essay assignment is, and having a limited amount of time to complete the essay. But you will write it and submit it on blackboard.
DeleteWhen you mention about the honey it remind me of my AP Biology teacher. He taught us that honey isn't real honey. if it has light pigment then it most likely mix with corn syrup. And if you really think about the process of making real honey it actually kind of gross. It where the bees use their mouth to suck up the nectar and then it being spit it back out.
ReplyDeleteFurthermore, animal that is being raised infarm, can be different. if the animal well treated and well feed, it higher price when buying it. For example the Wagyu beef, where the cow is being treated well and feed well and even have a birth certificate but still ending up on someone dinner table. It like giving them the good life to only end up whatever there fate is.

good weird food reference:Kopi Luwak,Wagyu beefs, shark fin soup, casu marzu, or blue cheese, century egg, fugu (pufferfish that has poison), bugs and more.
In the last video, the food usually is there to balance one and the other. like the sushi and the wasabi, it to prevent the taste of the raw fish to over power.

DeleteYeah I agree, the things that we eat are actually depending on our cultures, religion or if not it is always somehow based on that. For example in the Western culture, people see dogs as pets but in other places most commonly in the Pacific,majority of the people have the mentality of thinking that "dogs are just dogs/animals" so in island nations like Tonga they eat such things like dogs and horses, and it is totally normal.. but due to colonization or just because of the influence of western cultures, there are minority of people adapting to western culture considering dogs as pets...
